Are you passionate about transforming the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)? Aspire People is partnering with a local SEN school and mainstream schools in Loughborough, including those with dedicated SEN units, to find Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) eager to make an impact.

We are seeking skilled professionals to support children with a range of needs, from mild to complex, including Global Developmental Delay, Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Positions are available for one-to-one and small group support in SEN-focused and mainstream settings.

About the Role: As a dedicated SEN TA, you will play an essential role in fostering the emotional, physical, and academic development of students.

Your responsibilities include: Providing one-to-one or group support for students with SEN. Assisting with personal care tasks such as toileting, feeding, and dressing, where required. Supporting the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere. Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and school staff to maximize student success. Monitoring, documenting, and sharing student progress with the team.

What We're Looking For:

Experienced Professionals - Prior experience supporting children or young people with SEN is essential. Empathetic & Patient - Build strong, trusting relationships with students. Flexible & Proactive - Adapt to diverse student needs. Team Player - Work effectively with staff to foster a supportive environment. Qualifications - Relevant credentials like a SEND or Education degree, or NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, are desirable but not essential.
