A primary school in the OL2 area is currently looking to recruit a talented individual for the role of

SEN Support Assistant

to provide exciting, educational experiences to pupils across KS1 and KS2. This school works closely alongside parents, students, and the community with the intention of achieving solid, trusted relationships. Many of their students possess unique talents and abilities which the provision successfully promotes and nurtures. This role would be 8.30am-3.30pm Monday - Friday, term time only until the end of the academic year (July 2025). Relevant qualifications are preferred (e.g., Level 2/ Level 3 education-based qualification); however, they are not essential.

Within this role, you will be expected to create positive relationships with pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities and encourage positive choices and behaviour. You will provide support within the classes and work collaboratively with other SEN support TAs and class teachers, getting involved in core and foundation subjects to support those children with additional learning needs.

Whether you have experience supporting individuals with SEN in a different capacity, are a recent graduate looking for experience in a specialist role, or have prior experience in support/care work, this is the perfect role for you! The school is keen to consider a variety of staff, so previous experience is preferred but not essential.

If you are looking for professional growth and development in education and are passionate about applying your knowledge and experience in a practical and fulfilling way, this SEN Support Assistant role may be perfect for you!

Please apply and attach your CV. We look forward to hearing from you!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Teaching Personnel website for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'; this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.

We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance is provided.
