Location: Copthorne, Near Horley Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30 per year (based on experience and qualifications) Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week - Term time only Are you driven by the desire to make a lasting impact on young lives? We're looking for compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join a team as Teaching Assistants at a unique school for 11-16-year-olds with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This school blends traditional academic values with a caring, specialised approach to help students thrive both in and outside the classroom. Your Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be instrumental in supporting students' learning and personal development. You'll help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where students feel encouraged, confident, and ready to learn. Your support will be key to helping them grow academically, emotionally, and socially. What You'll Do: Build strong, supportive connections with students, boosting their confidence and well-being. Encourage independence and uphold high standards of behaviour and engagement. Assist in creating and delivering exciting, tailored learning activities. Support teachers in managing the classroom and ensuring smooth daily operations. Respond to the unique needs of each student with flexibility and creativity. Collaborate with a diverse, multi-professional team to meet students' individual needs. What We're Looking For: A positive attitude and a real passion for working with young people. GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English. No previous experience needed - full training is provided. A commitment to safeguarding and protecting young people.
