Location: Shrewsbury, Shropshire Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Positions Available Start Date: ASAP - DBS and reference dependant Aspire are seeking compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a SEN school in Shrewsbury. This is an exciting opportunity to support children with special educational needs, helping them thrive in an inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN, including those with autism (ASD), ADHD, or other learning and emotional needs. Assist the teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual learning goals. Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment, encouraging student engagement and confidence. Help manage behaviour in line with school policies and promote the well-being of all students. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Essential Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an SEN or educational setting. MUST HAVE 6 MONTHS + UK EXPERIENCE A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic school environment. Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate or equivalent. Experience supporting students with SEN in a school environment. Knowledge of de-escalation techniques or strategies for managing challenging behaviour. Additional training, such as Team Teach or Makaton, is advantageous. What We Offer:
