SEN Teaching Assistant in Bristol (BS35)!

Location: Bristol, BS35 Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Daily Rate: GBP90 - GBP110 Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-Time

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in making a positive impact on the lives of our students by helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Role Overview As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our teaching team to support students with diverse learning needs. You will provide one-on-one support, assist in small groups, and help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Student Support: Provide individualised or small group support to aid in students' academic and social development. Encourage independence and resilience through structured activities and tailored guidance. Foster a nurturing environment that promotes students' confidence and well-being.

Classroom Assistance: Assist teachers in delivering lessons tailored to the specific needs of each student. Help maintain a well-organised, safe, and inclusive classroom environment. Monitor and report on student progress, working closely with the teaching team.

Additional Responsibilities: Support students during transitions, breaks, and school outings. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.

Has experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting. Is knowledgeable about safeguarding and child protection.
