About the role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As a vital member of our educational team, you will work closely with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students who require additional support to manage their SEMH needs. Your role will involve implementing tailored support plans, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, and working collaboratively with teachers and parents to ensure the best outcomes for each student. Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs is essential. Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs or a related field are desirable. Skills:

Enhanced DBS check required. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to engage effectively with the curriculum. Implement and monitor individual support plans, making adjustments as necessary to meet students' evolving needs. Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and deliver targeted interventions that support students' emotional and social development. Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and emotional well-being. Engage with parents and careers to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on strategies to support learning at home.
