Omega Personnel are currently representing a Secondary SEN School for children with PMLD/SLD and Autism, who are looking for a committed and passionate SEN Teacher for a full time role, to start immediately for the right candidate. You will be engaging pupils with a range of complex SEN needs, supporting students to overcome their barriers to learning and meet the needs that are not met by mainstream schools. The school prides itself on providing an encouraging and inclusive environment for students and staff and offers a real sense of school community. Job Summary As an SEN Teacher, you will take the lead in the classroom and play a direct role in the education of a unique group of young people. Class sizes are small, with supporting TAs. You will be supporting the educational and personal progression of children and young adults with a range of complex needs, encouraging students with SEN to reach and exceed their goals, building their confidence and helping them to fulfil their maximum potential. Effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons that take into consideration the individual learning requirements of each student. Take a proactive and empathetic approach towards any challenges that may arise. Lead small classes, ensuring you work creatively to inspire students. Develop a strong understanding of the unique needs of each student.

SEN Teacher Job Requirements A UK teaching qualification such as PGCE, or Bachelor of Education (BEd). Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience in a Specialist School is desirable. Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to form good relationships. Enhanced Child & Adult workforce DBS that

must

be on the update service or be willing to apply one through Omega Personnel. If you are new to the UK or resident under 5 years, you must have a visa that indicates you are eligible to work in the UK and have a police force check from your country of origin.
