MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience with TLR A highly reputable Multi-Academy Trust specializing in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join the permanent team at their school in Basingstoke. About the Role The English Teacher will play a key role in delivering engaging, accessible, and differentiated English lessons tailored to students with SEN, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep commitment to the educational and emotional growth of each pupil, contributing to a supportive and collaborative school culture. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess English lessons that meet the individual needs of SEN students. Collaborate with the wider teaching and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to education. Provide individualized support and utilize adaptive teaching strategies to facilitate learning. Engage with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to support each student's progress and development. Contribute to the development and enrichment of the English curriculum in line with the MAT's ethos and values. Essential Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

or an equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience in teaching English, ideally within an SEN or inclusive setting. Strong understanding of SEN practices, including familiarity with EHCPs (Education, Health, and Care Plans). Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and needs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. A genuine passion for SEN education, coupled with resilience and compassion for supporting young people facing unique challenges. Desirable Qualifications & Experience Additional SEN qualifications or certifications. Experience working within a Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) or similar school structure.
