The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant: I am working with a PRU based in Lewisham that is looking for a new SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. For this role, you will be working in and out of the class with KS3 & KS4 students and will need to build a strong rapport with them. You must have strong behaviour management skills and will be working 1:1 with the students. You will be working closely with the class teacher to support classroom management, and you will be responsible for the students' physical, social, and emotional welfare to enable the best progress possible.
The School - PRU: The school is based in Lewisham and caters for students aged 11 - 16. They are committed to giving their students every opportunity to excel academically, build positive relationships with their peers and adults, and make positive contributions as independent and confident learners. The students will be equipped with the life skills required to make a positive impact in society. The school has many local bus routes and also an underground station within walking distance.
