We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work at an SEN School based in Bury St Edmunds. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs. **Your Responsibilities:**
* Tailor support to address the unique learning requirements of students with SEN. * Collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. * Assist in maintaining classroom order, fostering a positive and stimulating learning atmosphere. * Establish effective communication with parents, teachers, and external professionals. * Regularly monitor and evaluate the academic and social progress of students with SEN. * Adapt teaching materials and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs.
**Requirements:**
* Experience working or volunteering with SEND children (preferably with autismADHD experience). * Strong behaviour management skills. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. * Caring and empathetic personality. * Commitment to safeguarding children. * A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
