SEN Teaching Assistant

to join a vibrant and supportive school in TW13. In this role, you will:

Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum and thrive academically. Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities, ensuring they are adapted to meet the diverse needs of students. Support students with their personal and social development, promoting positive behaviors and attitudes towards learning. Work collaboratively with a strong, inclusive team, contributing to the overall success of the school. Help create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment where every student feels valued and able to succeed. Could This Be Right for You? Are You... Experienced : Experience in a similar role is essential, ideally in a school environment working with children with complex needs, PMLD, SLD and/or challenging behaviour. Skilled : Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills. Personable : Caring, patient, and adaptable, with a commitment to supporting the individual needs of each student. Desirable Skills: Previous experience in a similar role supporting children with a variety of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and physical disabilities. A knowledge of various SEN strategies and techniques to engage students. Willingness to undertake professional development and training.
