Reeson Education is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in the borough of Enfield, covering areas such as Enfield Town, Edmonton, Southgate, and Palmers Green. Starting in January 2025, this role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and looking to build a career in education.

Role Highlights for an SEN Teaching Assistant: Start Date: January 2025. Daily Rate: GBP80-GBP100, based on experience. Location: Vibrant schools in North London's Enfield borough. Work Schedule: Full-time position supporting pupils with a range of SEN.

Your Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant: Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports both learning and personal development. Support the emotional and social needs of pupils, helping them to engage confidently with their education. Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential.

What We're Looking for in an SEN Teaching Assistant: Recent graduates with a passion for working with children and supporting SEN learners. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to working with pupils with diverse needs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Previous experience working with children or SEN (e.g., volunteering, tutoring, or mentoring) is beneficial but not essential.
