About Us:

Remedy are looking for a compassionate and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join a team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, both one-on-one and in small groups. Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapting resources to meet students' needs. Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to monitor student progress and provide feedback. Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills. Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported. Assist with personal care needs if required, ensuring the dignity and safety of all students.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in an SEN setting. Strong understanding of various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs. Relevant qualifications in education or SEN support are desirable but not essential.
