We are working a Primary School in Havering to source a proactive and engaging SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. Your key role will be to provide dedicated support to children with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD, PMLD, Asperger's, and other related conditions. This is an ongoing role requiring a high level of commitment to ensure continuity and stability for the child.

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Havering

Rate: Starting at £80 per day

Schedule: Part-time or Full-time

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to children with SEN.
  • Implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Engage with children in a positive and proactive manner.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to support the child's learning and development.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to the child's education and well-being.

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Significant experience with SEN, particularly Autism, ADHD, PMLD, and Asperger's.
  • Ability to engage and connect with children effectively.
  • Strong commitment to the child's ongoing development and success.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
