A large mainstream primary school located in Walthamstow, London is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join them from January 2025 on a full-time & permanent contract to work alongside children with special educational needs. ** SEN Teaching Assistant ** Mainstream Primary School ** Walthamstow, London ** January 2025 start ** Permanent contract ** £21,000-£26,000 per annum ** Excellent support, education and training available ** Full-time positions This primary school is based within walking distance of two local tube stations in Waltham Forest, London and is also very accessible via bus and car. For these SEN Teaching Assistant positions, the school is seeking 2 SEN Teaching Assistants who either have experience working with children with SEN or recent graduates in Education, Psychology, Criminology, or an SEN-related degree who want to work with special educational needs. The students in this mainstream primary school have a variety of special educational needs including ASD, ADHD, challenging behavior, or learning difficulties. If you have experience working 1-2-1 with SEN or have a passion for supporting children with additional needs, then these could be the roles for you. These 2 Teaching Assistant positions are within EYFS, KS1, or KS2, so depending on your experience and preference, please get in touch to discuss the roles available at this school.
