Remedy Tutors are looking for SEN experienced tutors and teachers who are seeking flexible and rewarding work with a manageable schedule in Lewisham and surrounding areas.
This SEN tutor role involves:
Working with children with SEN and providing face-to-face support to children with ASD, ADHD, PDA, SEMH, or PMLD at their homes or in a local centre (e.g., town hall, library).
Planning lessons and resources tailored to the student's needs, covering core subjects or life skills.
Delivering engaging sessions.
Applying skills to raise pupils' confidence.
Managing children with challenging behaviour.
Tracking the learning progress of the student to achieve their desired learning outcomes and providing monthly reports.
Potentially engaging in outdoor activities such as learning about plants and nature with the student.
Learning about visuals for communication in some cases.
The work is fitted around your availability.
Experience working with SEND students and a valid enhanced child workforce DBS are both essential.
