Conduct training sessions for staff on best practices for supporting children with special educational needs. Liaise with parents and guardians to communicate progress and strategies for supporting their child's development at home. Mentor and tutor students as needed, focusing on their unique learning styles and challenges. Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions, ensuring compliance with local educational policies. Foster a nurturing environment that promotes positive relationships among children in preschool settings or toddler care programmes. Requirements Proven experience in special education or a related field is essential. Strong knowledge of applied behaviour analysis techniques and behaviour management strategies. Experience in speech therapy or similar therapeutic practices is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to educate and inspire both students and staff through mentoring initiatives. A compassionate approach towards working with children who have diverse needs is crucial. Relevant qualifications in education or special education are preferred but not mandatory.
