Have a range of experience working with children with complex needs. Be a strong leader who is committed to providing the highest standards of provision for our SEND children through classroom-based teaching, as well as supporting colleagues, parents, and children. Be experienced in rigorous tracking and monitoring of children’s progress, identifying needs and implementing effective strategies. Be experienced in working within the SEND Code of Practice as a SENCo or teacher. Be an excellent communicator, with a strong commitment to working in partnership with parents, Governors, and the community. Have or be willing to complete the program to gain the National Award for SENCo (NASENCO). Work alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead as a Deputy, particularly in relation to Children with SEND.
