SEND Support Assistant Location:

8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Age Range:
EYFS to KS4 (Dependent on experience) Contract Type:
Full-time, with potential for permanent placement Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the EYFS to KS4 age range. Assisting with personal care and mobility needs as required. Encouraging student participation in classroom activities and supporting learning. Providing 1:1 and small group support to assist with learning challenges. Implementing behaviour management strategies to foster a positive, inclusive environment. Collaborating with teachers and staff to monitor and track student progress. Promoting student independence and social development in both classroom and social settings. Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience working with children or adults with SEND is advantageous, but not essential. A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a related field is desirable but not essential.
