Juniper Training is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant and Employability Tutor in Telford. This full-time role (Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30, Friday 8:30-2:30) offers a salary of up to £26.5k per annum, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 and group support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Assist students in developing employability skills and workplace readiness.
Plan and deliver engaging vocational training sessions.
Collaborate with the teaching team to create inclusive learning environments.
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of support sessions and interventions.
Qualifications:
Experience working with young people, particularly those with SEND.
Knowledge of vocational training and employability skills development.
Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills.
Relevant qualifications in education, SEND, or training delivery are desirable but not essential.
Passion for helping students overcome barriers and achieve success.
