SEN Teaching Assistant

to join our highly supportive and collaborative team. If you are enthusiastic about making a positive difference in the lives of young people with SEN, we would love to hear from you! The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students with a variety of learning needs across the curriculum. Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting students with SEN on a 1:1 or small group basis to ensure they access the full curriculum and achieve their potential. Assisting with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs). Providing pastoral care and promoting positive behavior in line with school policies. Supporting students with physical and/or emotional needs, ensuring their safety and well-being. Collaborating with class teachers to adapt lessons and resources to meet students’ needs. Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. About You: We are looking for candidates who are passionate, patient, and enthusiastic about working with students with SEN. The ideal candidate will have: Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, ideally in a school setting but not essential if you have the right experience. A positive, proactive, and empathetic approach to supporting students. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A commitment to the values of inclusion, equality, and diversity. An attitude of hard work and willingness to hit the ground running within the school. Why Choose Us?
