Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a skilled and compassionate Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in West Bromwich. This is a long-term, ongoing role starting after February half term, where you will work closely with children with additional needs to support their learning and development in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support to children with ASD and other special educational needs. Help children with emotional and social development. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Work closely with parents and other professionals to monitor and track student progress. Encourage positive behaviour and engagement within the classroom.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year. Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Previous experience working with children with ASD and other special educational needs. Knowledge of SEND provisions and strategies for supporting students with additional needs. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. A compassionate and patient approach to supporting children with diverse learning needs.
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application. Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years.
