Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you enjoy working as part of a team and helping children achieve their full potential? If so, we have the perfect role for you. We are looking to recruit a suitably skilled SEND Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our exciting school. We have a great mix of children, a strong and supportive staff team, and a good reputation for the inclusion of children with special needs. We were graded as a good school by Ofsted in July 2022. We require a skilled and committed person who can work in a 1:1 role to support teaching and learning and address the personal and individual needs of a SEND pupil in our EYFS. You will need to be a good communicator, cheerful, calm, resilient, and able to work as part of a team and individually. Ideally, you will have a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification and some experience of working in a primary school and/or supporting children with SEND. The role is offered on a permanent basis starting as soon as possible. You will not routinely be expected to work Teacher Training Days but may be invited to do so on occasions and will be paid overtime. The hours of work will be 31 hours and 40 minutes per week, term time only. The hours of work will be Mon-Fri 08:40-15:30 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Interested candidates are welcome (and encouraged) to visit the school. For more information or to arrange an appointment, please contact the school office.
