Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the classroom Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities Providing one-to-one support to students who require additional help for students with physical disabilities Helping to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students Collaborating with other staff members and ensuring engagement of non-verbal students Required Qualifications:

Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification Enhanced DBS check Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Experience:

Previous experience working with students with SEND (Personal experience) Experience in a classroom setting Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of different learning needs and how to support them Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Patience and empathy towards students with SEND Preferred Qualifications:

First Aid certification Training in behaviour management techniques Health and Social Care Cache level 3 Manual handling Working Conditions:

Work in a school setting Full-time hours Working in reduced classes (6 - 8 students) Opportunity for professional development All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
