TeacherActive is currently working with Ofsted-outstanding SEND schools in Oxford, catering to both primary and secondary pupils. These schools focus on creating inclusive, aspirational, and progressive learning environments. Each student’s education program is tailored to their specific needs and detailed within their Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). Lessons are delivered in small groups or one-on-one settings by experienced and dedicated staff.
We are looking for compassionate and driven teaching staff with a strong background in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This role requires someone who can engage fully with pupils, build positive relationships, and foster an environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Collaboration with other staff members and a commitment to the well-being of students are essential for success. The successful candidate will have:
Experience working with children and young people with SEND, including autism, learning disabilities, and physical or sensory needs. A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience in an educational setting. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. The ability to adapt and deliver tailored lessons to maximize learning potential. A flexible and proactive approach, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
