Full-time, Permanent We are seeking an exceptional

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo)

to join the dedicated team at a vibrant SEN provision in Milton Keynes. The unit provides a supportive and inclusive environment for young people aged 12 to 18 with a range of special educational needs, empowering them to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

About the Role As SENDCo, you will be a key member of the leadership team, driving high-quality provision for students. You will: Lead and manage SEND provision across the school, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) to support diverse learning needs. Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for our students. Provide training and support to staff to ensure effective differentiation and inclusion strategies. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and the overall SEND provision.

About You We are looking for a passionate and experienced SENDCo who shares our commitment to inclusive education. The ideal candidate will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to work towards it). Proven experience working with children and young people with SEND. Strong understanding of SEND legislation, including the SEND Code of Practice. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. A proactive and compassionate approach to supporting students with additional needs.
