Role Overview We are hiring Senior/3rd Line Field Engineers to strengthen our team. These engineers must demonstrate advanced technical skills, excellent work ethic, and independence. This role is pivotal in upholding the company's reputation, as our engineers are often the primary point of contact for clients. The quality of their work and the professionalism they demonstrate will shape client expectations and define the foundation of our business relationships. Candidates must be based within 60 minutes of Richmond and be capable of providing hands-on support, completing high-quality installations, and handling third-line escalations with minimal oversight. Responsibilities Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve complex third-line issues related to servers, networking, and cloud systems.

Administer hybrid environments using Azure AD, Microsoft 365, and VMware.

Configure and manage networking solutions, including VLANs, NAT, DNS, and firewalls.

Physical Engineering: Perform high-quality installations, including cable trunking, hardware setups, and network infrastructure upgrades.

Ensure all on-site work meets professional standards and client expectations.

Project Support: Collaborate with the IT Field Operations Manager and other engineers on large-scale projects, including system migrations and installations.

Maintain detailed documentation of technical solutions and configurations.

Salary & Benefits Salary: £40,000–£45,000.

Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in 3rd line support or a comparable field engineering role.

Proven ability to work independently, delivering high-quality technical solutions.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, and advanced networking.

Familiarity with Dell PowerEdge servers, Cisco networking, and tools like SolarWinds.

Other Requirements: Valid UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Excellent attention to detail and physical engineering skills (e.g., cable management).

Reside within a 60 minute commute from Richmond
