About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will have over 5 years of accounting experience and hold relevant qualifications such as MAAT, ACCA, or be qualified by experience (QBE). You will be responsible for delivering a range of accounting services and tax advice to a portfolio of SME businesses and their associated individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping: Oversee and review bookkeeping records. Company Accounts: Prepare and review company accounts, primarily for Ltd companies (FRS 102 & FRS 105). Tax Returns: Handle the preparation of company tax returns. VAT Returns: Prepare and review quarterly VAT returns. Personal Tax Returns: Prepare personal tax returns for Directors of Ltd companies. Management Accounts: Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts for Ltd companies.
Desirable Software Experience:
TaxCalc (accounts and taxation), Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, Brightmanager. Experience with cloud-based software is essential, and familiarity with at least one of the above-mentioned software is highly desirable.
