Senior Accountant Annual Salary: £38,000 - £50,000 Location: Brighton Job Type: Full-time, In-office Join a leading accountancy practice in Brighton as a Senior Accountant. This role is ideal for someone with 3-5 years of experience within a practice environment, looking to manage a varied portfolio of candidates. Familiarity with IRIS and Xero systems is essential for this position. Day-to-day of the role: Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of clients Utilise IRIS and Xero systems to maintain accurate financial records and perform data analysis. Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other reports as required. Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and systems. Provide guidance and support to junior staff, helping them to develop their accounting skills. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Maintain strong communication with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored financial advice. Required Skills & Qualifications: Fully ACCA qualified accountant 3-5 years of experience working within an accountancy practice. Proficient in using IRIS and Xero accounting software. Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Strong client communication skills, able to build and maintain effective relationships.
