Senior Accountant / Client Manager

Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established and prominent firm of accountants based in the heart of the City of Edinburgh, that are now in a position to recruit a Senior Accountant or an existing Client Manager to manage a portfolio of Ltd Co's, sole traders, partnerships, LLPs, and OMBs.
Role Requirements
Responsible for a diverse portfolio of clients comprising individuals and owner-managed businesses. Preparation and review of year-end financial accounts for companies, partnerships, LLPs, and sole traders. Computations for corporation tax CT600 returns. Preparation and review of partnership tax returns and adjusted profit computations. Preparation and review of self-assessment personal tax returns. Company secretarial filings. Reviewing bookkeeping/VAT returns for quarterly submission. Researching and seeking to resolve issues for upward communication in more complex client cases or higher risk aspects of work. Person Requirements
AAT and ACCA qualified (or late stages) with 5+ years' experience in a senior capacity taking responsibility for a sizeable (£100k+ fees) portfolio of clients. Proven record of mentoring, supervising, and reviewing the work of more junior staff members. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and confident in meeting with clients either virtually or physically.
