A growing and successful accountancy practice based in Budleigh Salterton is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing year-end accounts, tax compliance across both personal and corporate tax, overseeing VAT, bookkeeping, and providing key support to the firm's managers and partners. You will have increasing client management responsibility, with opportunities for team development and career progression. Client Details Based in Budleigh Salterton, this well-established firm acts for a wide range of clients across various industries, including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, SMEs, and OMBs. The firm has a good reputation and is undergoing a sustained period of positive growth, leading to this hiring opportunity. Description As a Senior Accountant based in the firm's Budleigh Salterton offices, you will be responsible for the preparation and review of year-end accounts, personal and corporate tax compliance, and overseeing wider services for clients across varied industries. You will have increasing client management responsibility, help develop and mentor teams, and progress in your accountancy practice career within a successful and growing chartered firm of accountants. Profile You may be qualified or a part/finalist across any of AAT, ATT, ACA, ACCA, etc., or have developed your career through experience. A background in accounts/tax and general accountancy practice service delivery to a wide range of sole trade, partnership, and limited company clients is required, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment of any size. You should have reached around the Senior Accountant level and be looking for a challenging new career opportunity. Full or part-time working hours can be explored, tailored to the preferences of the right candidate. Job Offer Circa £29,000 - £36,000 dependent on background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
