A typical working day could include: Ownership and management of a portfolio of clients, predominantly owner managed businesses. Client-facing role – being the main point of contact for these clients to resolve queries and assist with accounting matters. Accounts preparation for clients – planning, reviewing and finalisation. Working knowledge of FRS102 1A and FRS105, desirable. Ad hoc bookkeeping including overview of VAT returns / payroll / management accounts / advising on cloud accounting systems such as Xero. Corporation tax and personal tax compliance and planning services and review of these returns / computations. Assisting in the training / support of trainees. Supporting the partners with more technical tasks. What do you need to bring to the table?

To be successful, you

must be AAT level 4

qualified with experience at a minimum. You should be working towards your ACA or ACCA qualification or be fully qualified. You must also possess the following skills: Proven track record in a practice environment. Able to work unaided to strict deadlines. Apply theory and practice and reach logical conclusions. Build constructive relationships with other team members. Accept instruction from senior personnel.
