This role is based in their Head Office in Derby and is easily commutable from South and North Derbyshire. They provide a modern and friendly working environment, with flexible working and working from home options.

This is a great opportunity with a firm that is growing and offers lots of potential for internal promotion, as well as offering a competitive salary and benefits package. This role plays a pivotal position within the firm, acting as a bridge between the Client Managers and Associate Partner.

Role overview:

The role is overseeing the workflow of client services, helping to manage client relationships, and ensuring the smooth service experience our clients expect. The successful candidate will also be actively involved in preparing larger accounts up to the review stage and conducting first-line reviews of management accounts and VAT returns prepared by Client Managers. This role is ideal for an individual with excellent technical expertise, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for supporting and developing team members.

What you will need:

Successful applicants

will need experience in accounting gained from practice

and be able to demonstrate good working knowledge of accounting systems. In addition, you will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

Experience in a management role within an Accountancy practice is essential

In addition, you will have strong technical skills.

ACA/ACCA qualified is preferred.
