Senior Accountant (Outsourcing)
An exciting opportunity awaits with a highly respected, growing, and acquisitive firm of Chartered Accountants based in Surrey. As a Senior Accountant, you'll join a team that values autonomy, innovation, and client-centric service. With hybrid working options and a collaborative culture, you'll work closely with experienced Partners to support a diverse portfolio of fascinating clients, including owner-managed businesses (OMBs), some Groups with a significant turnover and some NFP organisations.
The Role of Senior Accountant
In this role, you'll have the freedom to manage your own client portfolio, working with a variety of interesting clients and gaining exposure to complex accounting challenges. Key responsibilities include: Preparing year-end statutory accounts in line with FRS 102, UK GAAP; exposure to preparing accounts under IFRS would be excellent. Offering advisory support tailored to each client's unique business needs. Playing an active role in continuous improvement projects, supporting the firm's growth. About You
You bring proven experience in an accounting practice and are either ACA or ACCA qualified (or working towards qualification). You will have strong knowledge of FRS 102, UK GAAP, with ideally some exposure to IFRS. You will thrive on autonomy, enjoy building strong client relationships, and enjoy working in an environment which is growing and very busy.
