We’re seeking a skilled and motivated accountant to join our client’s growing finance team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of financial operations, managing crucial aspects of accounts payable and receivable using state-of-the-art accounting software. You’ll work closely with an established finance department, contributing your expertise to maintain financial accuracy and drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities

Manage and monitor the accounts inbox, ensuring timely and professional responses to financial queries Process supplier and subcontractor invoices with meticulous attention to detail Take a proactive role in debt chasing, employing effective strategies to maintain healthy cash flow Oversee payables and receivables, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and on time Utilize advanced financial software including Xero, Dext, and ApprovalMax to streamline accounting processes Collaborate with the existing finance team to support day-to-day accounting operations Implement and maintain robust financial procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems Requirements

Qualified accountant or high-level bookkeeper with relevant certifications Proven expertise in Xero, Dext, and ApprovalMax software Strong track record in managing accounts payable and receivable processes Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure Fluent English language skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment Experience working with international clients, particularly those based in the UK Adaptability to work UK business hours (8 AM to 5 PM GMT) Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative in improving processes Commitment to confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information with discretion Please note that since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
