Variety and Impact In this role, you’ll work with a diverse range of clients, preparing and reviewing financial statements, management reports, and more. Your expertise will help improve processes and make a meaningful impact on client outcomes. As an experienced practice professional, you'll be familiar with the work but here's a summary of your tasks: Supervise and assess the work of junior accountants, ensuring adherence to accounting standards. Prepare and deliver ad-hoc financial reports and insights to client managers and clients as required. Accurately and efficiently handle month-end and year-end closing tasks. Produce and evaluate financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules. Engage with clients to gather any missing information and resolve accounting-related inquiries. Conduct thorough account reconciliations and review those completed by junior team members. Work closely with senior accountants and client managers to finalize draft financial reports and management accounts. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering their growth and development. Recognize areas for process enhancement and implement improvements to accounting practices. Keep current with changes in accounting standards and regulations to maintain compliance. What We’re Looking For: AAT Level 4 qualified or currently studying towards ACCA (or an equivalent qualification). Over 5 years of practical experience in accounting. In-depth understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements. Strong communication skills, with a focus on delivering excellent client service. Proven experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members. Exceptional attention to detail, with the capability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
