The chosen candidate will be joining an experienced Cornwall based accountancy firm that focuses on providing bespoke accountancy, business, and financial advice for each of their clients.
With a client base ranging from long-established PLCs, start-up businesses, and sole traders, the ideal Senior Accountant will be employed to manage both a substantial client portfolio as well as a growing team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
In this accountancy firm, the Senior Accountant will carry out a wide range of general accounting duties, including: Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships, LLPs, and Charities Reviewing the work of more junior members of the team Liaising directly with clients Tax computations Assisting in the planning and management of the workflow Exciting ad-hoc duties including budgeting & forecasting and due diligence
Reporting directly to, and working alongside the Senior Partners, the successful candidate will have several years’ experience within a general accountancy public practice. They will be ACA/ACCA part or fully qualified with outstanding technical and organisational skills, whilst also retaining the ability to lead by example.
