Working as part of a member of a small finance team in a manufacturing business based in Wakefield, you will support the FD and assist in the smooth running of the full finance function on a day-to-day basis.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Raising Applications & Invoices
Final Account Preparation
Monitoring Job Efficiency & Job Costing
Working closely with the Commercial & QS department
Financial reporting
Procurement
Stock Control
Bank Reconciliation
This role will suit individuals who have the following skills and experiences:
Strong Excel Skills (including pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
Work experience in a finance function within a manufacturing business is highly advantageous
Previous experience in the construction industry would be highly beneficial
Be a highly motivated and focused individual who has worked in a similar role in a fast-paced environment
Positive and open attitude to work, strong desire to learn, develop, and progress within the role and further
Proactive, confident, and able to work on own initiative, as well as with the wider teams within the business.
