An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Administrator to work within a dynamic, innovative and friendly team within the Community Intermediate Care Centre in Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator with a passion for high quality care. Candidates require experience of working within a busy administrative role, and need to possess strong administrative skills and are team focused. You will be supporting the multi-disciplinary team with their administrative tasks, aiding your own professional development. Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is committed to the development of staff and provides learning opportunities to enhance individual and team opportunities. The successful candidates will work alongside the Ward Manager as well as the other members of the Team. The role will also require flexibility in administrative and clerical cover as required to meet the needs of the service. You will be an integral part of the team providing telephone cover as well as other administrative tasks as required. We are a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, and health care assistants. Qualifications and professional training

NVQ Level 3, AS or A Level, Baccalaureate or equivalent experience Demonstrable working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook Evidence of continued professional development within the last 12 months Personal Qualities

Proactive Flexible, Adaptive and Creative Professional Team player with an awareness of team dynamics Ability to work over a 7-day rota to cover weekends as required Ability to use own initiative but understand the need to seek advice when necessary Experience and knowledge

Previous experience of dealing with the public and taking telephone enquiries Experience of maintaining patient waiting lists Experience of managing diaries for meetings Experience of maintaining databases and information systems Previous experience of working in the NHS Skills and Attributes

Ability to communicate sensitively with all staff groups, patients and their families Excellent oral and written communication skills with people from a wide variety of backgrounds Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines Ability to produce work of a high standard with attention to detail Good organisational skills Disclosure and Barring Service Check
