Business Transformation We have a great opportunity for a Senior Advisor to join, support and drive forward our Business Transformation services:
You will support and lead the delivery of solutions to some of the most challenging and exciting problems within the sector, from Rail and Highways to Telecoms and Future Energy. Experience or a passion in pursuing economic and community improvements in infrastructure is key.
Your responsibilities will vary across the entire project lifecycle, and you will be expected to get involved in, and take ownership of, internal team initiatives. We embrace a start-up mentality and pace, with the support and resources of a global corporate.
This position offers the opportunity to lead a varied range of innovative projects focused on transformation and organisational change, supporting the growth of our clients and delivering complex transformation programmes and helping build our capability to deliver extraordinary outcomes for our clients.
What you will be doing
Use knowledge and skills in Project Management and Change Management to deliver projects in the built environment sector delivering meaningful change to clients and society.
Depending on your background you can be expected to be leading on the delivery of client projects in one of the following areas:
Programme, Project management, Portfolio Management or PMO engagements
Developing and implementing business change approaches to embedding new ways of working.
Lead and support client discussions to understand their challenges, shaping solutions to meet these challenges while leveraging our in-house expertise.
Support the development and evolution of solution offerings, integrating leading thinking and aligning these to client demands and other GHD Service Offerings.
Co-leading and supporting the development of opportunities and proposals with clients including developing commercial sound pricing and staffing models.
Collaborate across disciplines to deliver creative solutions to client challenges.
Play a key role on your team by developing and delivering presentations and written deliverables and organising and facilitating client meetings and workshops.
Establish positive relationships with clients and peers that build credibility, foster your support network, and empower career development.
Cultivate knowledge of our clients' business models. Be seen as a subject matter expert to advise clients in your field.
Coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of more junior members of your team.
Be a part of a growing practice and bring your thoughts ideas and passion as part of the group.
About you:

Previous experience:
4+ years of relevant work experience advising, shaping and delivering engagements across:
Project/Programme Management and PMO
Organisation Change Management
Team management experience
Experience of the delivery methodologies that could include Agile, SCRUM, ADKAR, PMBOK, PRINCE2, MSP and tailoring delivery approaches to best meet client needs.
The ability to quickly recognise different personal communication styles and leverage those styles to build consensus and collaborate effectively.
A proven capability to follow a structured approach when deciphering complex problems, and synthesising results.
The ability to establish credibility with clients and peers.
Communications and collaboration skills, and the ability to draw on them in difficult, ambiguous, and fast-moving situations.
Experience working on projects that cross into multiple disciplines and industries.
Experience working in or within the built environment and infrastructure environments is a plus.
