Your Role: The AI Compliance Officer will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and managing AI compliance frameworks to ensure that our AI systems meet regulatory, ethical, and transparency requirements. This role involves working closely with various internal teams, including legal, data science, AI development, and external regulatory bodies to ensure that the organization’s AI practices align with global standards and regulations.

The Role Focuses On: Ensuring that all AI systems and applications comply with relevant local and global regulations, guidelines, and standards and other emerging AI governance frameworks. Developing and enforcing ethical guidelines for AI use, ensuring that AI solutions are transparent, fair, and free from bias, while promoting accountability and responsible AI deployment. Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with AI deployments, such as data privacy issues, unintended biases, and algorithmic transparency, to safeguard the organization’s reputation and trustworthiness. Working closely with legal, ISG, DPO, AI development, and external regulatory bodies to create a comprehensive compliance framework that integrates technical, process and legal requirements into AI projects.

Required: Deep understanding of global regulatory frameworks of AI. Expertise in assessing and managing compliance risks associated with AI systems. Ability to implement and oversee AI compliance programs and systems across multiple regions and jurisdictions. Knowledge of AI ethics. Ability to develop and enforce governance policies around AI, ensuring they align with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards. Expertise in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies specific to AI and machine learning systems. Experience with automation tools and AI governance frameworks to streamline compliance processes. Familiarity with platforms like IBM OpenPages, MLOps tools, AI model registries, and automated auditing tools. Extensive understanding of AI regulations and policies across global markets. Expertise in conducting internal and external AI audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards. Strong capability in designing and implementing AI compliance policies, standards, and guidelines. Ability to guide internal and external teams on AI compliance matters through consulting roles.
