Evaluate, perform due diligence, and report on real estate investment opportunities within Hotels & Hospitality across the ever-growing UK market. Create financial models, conduct market research, interact with operating partners, brokers, sellers, and advisers to evaluate investments and conduct due diligence. Manage multiple third-party due diligence processes and oversee technical, valuation, and legal advisers for multiple projects and instructions. Work with investors’ and co-investors’ structuring and legal advisers to determine and implement the appropriate legal and tax structure for acquisitions. Prepare investment memoranda to summarize findings for internal and investor investment committees. Participate actively in regular meetings with existing and potential new investors, senior management, and investment committees to discuss and assess new investment opportunities and asset management of existing assets, to assess investor requirements, and to report on progress. Successful track record in private equity real estate funds within the UK or Europe’s Hotels & Hospitality sector. Experience in real estate finance and development in Hotels & Hospitality. Must be from a Real Estate Agency. Advanced understanding of investment, accounting, finance, and real estate terminology. Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to create financial models and utilize valuation methods for asset valuations and appraisals. Experience managing due diligence processes including overseeing third-party technical, valuation, legal, and tax advisers and drafting of legal documentation structuring. Experience in drafting investment memos and asset management reports. Excellent relationship building and negotiating skills, especially with operating partners. Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Degree in finance, economics, or related field, as well as an MBA preferred; CFA level experience preferred. In addition to English, fluency in another European language is preferred.
