As a Senior Analyst, FP&A International at Ciena, you will play a vital role in supporting our international financial planning and analysis activities. You will be responsible for providing accurate financial insights, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis to drive informed decision-making across our international operations. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with regional and cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborate with regional finance teams to develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets for international operations. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support strategic planning. Performance Measurement: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance against targets. Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting areas of concern and recommending corrective actions. Forecasting and Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process for international operations, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives. Develop accurate financial forecasts, considering market trends, business drivers, and operational factors. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for international business units. Analyze financial results, identify areas of improvement, and provide recommendations to optimize performance. Business Partnership: Collaborate with regional finance teams, business leaders, and other stakeholders to understand their financial needs and provide support in decision-making processes. Act as a trusted advisor by offering insights and recommendations to drive financial performance. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline financial planning and analysis processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve efficiency. Implement best practices and leverage automation tools to drive process optimization. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certifications (CFA, CPA) are preferred but not compulsory. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in an international setting. Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling techniques. Proficient in financial analysis tools and software. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide meaningful insights. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically. Ability to work across time-zones.
