We are working with a leading company in the nuclear and power generation sector, supporting them in appointing Senior and Principal Engineer in Glasgow location.
In this role you will ideally have experience of large design projects within nuclear or similar highly regulated industries.
You will join projects such as NTSP, which will deliver specialist nuclear technical support to DIO, Navy Command and other MOD organisations. This predominantly focuses on delivering the refurbishment and upgrade of critical infrastructure at HMNB Clyde.
There are also opportunities to support the PP&E project for design, installation and commissioning of the complex engineering plant and equipment.
Experience of various mechanical systems including fabricated structures, plant and process equipment is sought, with the ability to substantiate designs through hand calculations and FEA.
At Principal level, experience of line management of team members would be anticipated.
This role is based at their Glasgow office (G2 8NJ) – Hybrid Working – 2 days/week on site typically.
Rates offered up to £55/hour at Senior level & between £60 – 78/hour at Principal Engineer level. Rates quoted are Umbrella (inside IR35). You will also be required to obtain security clearance to BPSS standard.
