Interacts with the engineering teams at our Brecksville, Ohio & Edmonton Alberta locations, supporting our internal and external sales teams assess, troubleshoot and provide resolution issues. Interprets customer technical specifications and makes recommendations. Supports development of technical training and at times translating technical into non-technical for non-technical audiences. To provide applications engineering support across Curtiss-Wright business in particular (after training) spring design, bellows design, trim selection, valve configuration, sizing and selection. Responsibility for local Engineering Admin Support. May assist engineers and other technical staff in design and development of workshop fixtures and test equipment, systems, and processes, by analyzing technical problems and working closely with stakeholders. May travel to the customer’s site to assist in control valve projects, may work with engineering design specifications, objectives and standards. Your Expertise:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Previous experience in the oil & gas industry - control valves and/or safety valves engineering. Experienced in sizing calculations, control valve troubleshooting etc. Familiar with applicable ASME, API, PED & ISO standards. Good communication skills. Safety conscious. A good mentor. Training:

A comprehensive product and process familiarization training package will be necessary covering our product portfolio. This will be delivered at our facilities in Brecksville, Ohio, USA & Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The successful candidate will need to be ready and available to travel for an initial training period of up to 3 weeks at each facility.
