Job Description:

As an Architecture Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our design team by preparing detailed drawings and plans. You will ensure designs comply with industry standards and client specifications. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate architectural drawings and schedules using CAD software.

Collaborate with designers and other team members to create design solutions.

Review and interpret technical documents such as Building Regulation documents and British Standard codes.

Perform project coordination tasks and assist in Planning and Building Regulations.

Ensure all designs comply with industry codes, regulations, and standards.

Proficient in all aspects of joinery detailing.

Qualifications:

Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.

Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and other relevant design tools such as Sketch Up would be an added advantage.

Strong understanding of architectural design and building codes.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with AutoCAD software and Office 365.

Familiarity with sustainable design practices.

Previous experience in an architectural or construction firm.
