They are currently seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their design team in Manchester and to support the design and delivery of their strong and varied pipeline of work. This can include large and complex projects within the nuclear and defence sectors, as well as high-profile commercial schemes for a variety of government bodies.

About the role

Reporting to the regional Design Director, you will support the design and delivery of projects that will vary in type, size and complexity. Typical responsibilities will include: Production of detail design information using relevant standards and specifications through RIBA Stages 2-4. Work as part of a multi-discipline team, ensuring design co-ordination on behalf of the project. Production of specifications, material schedules and detailed design solutions using NBS software packages. Provide technical leadership on projects where appropriate. Undertake site surveys and respond to technical queries throughout the delivery phases of projects.

About you

You must be an enthusiastic Senior Architectural Technologist with a broad knowledge and experience of designing and detailing buildings and facilities across a variety of sectors. Any experience within the defence or security sectors would be particularly welcome. You should have experience of delivering BIM level 2 projects and be a competent REVIT user.
