a Senior Assistant - CCP and Settlement Bank Services, you will be responsible for the day to day processes of Central Counterparty Clearing (CCP) and Settlement Bank Services. You will identify, report, escalate and resolve problems arising during the daily
operations. You will also be responsible for system testing and upgrading. You will be working in an alternating weekly shift pattern (day shift 07:30-15:30, late shift 14:00-22:00 and regular shift 09:00-17:00). This is a full time permanent role. Essential responsibilities include but not limited to Collaborate with the team in order to ensure all the CCP and Settlement Bank Services daily tasks are processed correctly and to the satisfaction of clients and counterparties Be an author, review and assist in production of relevant business standard operating procedures of CCP and Settlement Bank Services Submit and articulate requirements to assist in upgrading the relevant systems where needed Responsible for the relevant UAT and functional testing and implementation of bank systems Assist in problem resolution during daily operations Prepare business statistics for team and department Promote corporate (including trade finance) related products to the potential clients Produce performance reports from database on a monthly basis Daily record keeping and filing Assist with projects where required Ensure all operational work falls within the Bank’s guidelines and policy Person specification Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other equivalent Experience in similar business stream like payments and/or operations, ideally in Investment Banking or Retail Banking Knowledge of MUREX, RTGS payment systems, SWIFT, Treasury Products, CCP portals and manual operational processes is desirable Knowledge of risk management including knowledge of collateral management workflows is desirable Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly in the use of MS Excel and MS Word Commercial awareness Team player Excellent communication skills Fluency in Mandarin is not required but preferred What we offer In return, we will offer a great working environment and supported learning, a competitive salary and benefits package.
