Position Green has 700+ clients with more than 360 employees located across 10 locations in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the US, Benelux and the UK. We are expanding our European advisory team supporting International customers, and are looking for a talented new team member to join us. You will become a pivotal member of our advisory team, working alongside bright, like-minded colleagues with different areas of expertise and backgrounds. You will play an important role in developing and delivering insightful and impactful advice and solutions to our clients in the UK and internationally. As a strategic sustainability advisor, you are skilled in consulting and problem-solving. You have a good understanding of ESG principles, regulatory requirements, and sustainability trends. You are able to work with C-level stakeholders and promote a culture of continuous improvement while leveraging technology to drive sustainable solutions and efficiencies. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, help them embed sustainability into their strategy and operations, develop Sustainability Roadmaps and action plans based on thorough analysis of client needs and regulatory/strategic landscape, and support clients in navigating an ever-shifting regulatory landscape. As Position Green is in a scale-up phase, things are changing fast and you will be key for further developing and implementing more effective processes and structures that ensure good resource allocation, superior client and project management, and making sure that we build for sustainable growth. WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
You are passionate about sustainability and enjoy the challenge of staying up to date in this fast-changing space. You are a curious person who is eager to learn about strategic risks and opportunities linked to sustainability in various industries. We welcome applications from talented candidates with different backgrounds and levels of experience. Preferably, you have: 3-5 years experience within business/strategic consultancy in sustainability/ESG MSc within a relevant field such as engineering, business, or environmental sciences Experience with strategy development or implementation Strategic & Consulting Mindset - Ability to work on complex client problems and recommend innovative approaches and solutions Ability to present recommendations in a compelling narrative through client-ready deliverables Knowledge of key frameworks such as ESRS, TCFD, ISSB, GRI, SASB, UNGPs, OECD Guidelines (experience in working with decarbonisation strategies and GHG accounting is advantageous, but not required) Experience within CSRD (reporting, analysis, implementation) is beneficial Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in other European languages is advantageous, but not required LOCATION This is a role within our international advisory team, and we are looking for someone to be based in London, working with a team of strategic consultants across Europe.
