Key Responsibilities General duties include, but are not limited to: Effectively manage an individual caseload and delegate to and provide supervision to more junior members of the team as required. Foster relationships with existing and new clients to ensure that all clients receive an excellent service. Work in a collegiate and collaborative way within an immediate team and wider firm environment. Carry out your work for both colleagues and clients to the highest possible standard, having regard to the Firm's standards, procedures, and Core Values. Work with the Business Development & Marketing Team to develop the Firm's reputation and client base. Ongoing learning is something that will continue in your career at Stone King; we aim to be leaders in our chosen fields, often providing workshops and seminars not only for our people but also for external clients on key areas of law. Requirements Essential An experienced Solicitor or Barrister with a good level of experience in non-contentious and contentious construction matters. Some experience supervising others. The ideal candidate will have the potential to market the firm and should have a strong interest in business development, including attending seminars and networking events, presenting workshops to the firm's clients, and being involved in pitches/tenders. The candidate should be able to evidence diversity and experience in the construction and infrastructure sector. A strong commitment to career development and further learning. Desirable Qualifications in construction, holding senior membership of a chartered professional institution, MRICS, MCIOB, or similar. Experience working within the Education, Charity, and Public Sectors funding arena would be advantageous. Specialist qualifications in Alternative Dispute Resolution, particularly arbitration and adjudication, and membership of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators would be advantageous.
